Injectable NAD+ is available to help with fatigue, weight, and improve overall health.
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme found in all living cells. NAD+ plays a role in cellular energy and repair, and the body's natural levels of the coenzyme decline with age. NAD+ helps boost energy, improve mood, and combat the effects of aging.
Potential benefits:
Increased energy: As an essential component for energy metabolism, NAD+ is used by cells to convert food into energy.
Enhanced cognitive function: Replenishing NAD+ levels may support brain health by improving energy metabolism in neurons, potentially boosting memory, focus, and mental clarity.
Anti-aging and cellular repair: NAD+ is involved in DNA repair and cellular regeneration. Supplementing it may enhance these mechanisms, helping to slow age-related decline.
Metabolic and weight management: NAD+ can boost metabolism and assist with weight management and fat metabolism.
Mood regulation: NAD+ may influence neurotransmitter function, potentially leading to a more stable mood and reduced feelings of anxiety.
Addiction recovery: NAD+ injections were first used in addiction treatment centers and may help reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
It's important to note that the evidence supporting these potential benefits is still limited. Because the safety and efficacy of NAD+ have not yet been adequately evaluated, it is NOT currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The cost of NAD+ is NOT included in the monthly membership fee.
This will be an additional cost at $25 per injection.
For administering NAD+, intramuscular (IM) injections offer faster, more rapid absorption, while subcutaneous (SQ) injections provide a slower, more gradual release. We prefer SQ injection for this reason, as it is convenient and less painful as well. We recommend starting with 50 mg weekly, then gradually increase up to 100 mg once or twice a week as tolerated/needed.
